One sentence
SevenGrid is a calm habit tracker for Android that puts your whole week on one screen: no streaks, no account, no subscription.
Short version, ~90 words
SevenGrid is a habit tracker with no streaks, no points and no guilt built in. Your week is a grid: mark what you did, move on. Goals are weekly ("three times a week"), so a single empty day never wrecks anything, and planned rest days simply do not count against you. Everything stays on the phone: no account, no ads, no usage tracking. The app is free; unlocking everything is a one-time 9.99 euro purchase rather than a subscription. SevenGrid is written by Stefan Roßkopf (ByteSide.io) in Germany.
Long version, three paragraphs
SevenGrid is a habit tracker for Android that leaves streaks out on purpose. Instead of a chain you might break, you get the whole week as a grid: seven days side by side, one row per habit. An empty day does not snap anything; it is simply an empty cell.
Goals work by the week. "Three times a week" is a target, not a daily countdown, and rest days can be scheduled instead of being counted as failure. SevenGrid also does limits, "fast food, twice at most", the direction most trackers cannot count in. At the end of the week the app asks three short questions and takes a mood reading; nobody hands out badges.
Everything lives on the device: no account, no ads, no usage tracking. CSV export and file backup are built in. The app is free to use, and the full version is a one-time 9.99 euro purchase, no subscription. SevenGrid is a one-person project by Stefan Roßkopf (ByteSide.io) in Germany.

5.0 from 54 ratings on Google Play, German store, as of August 2026. It is a small number: the app has been public since July 5, 2026. Google displays ratings country by country, and most storefronts, including the US and the UK, have not crossed the display threshold yet.
Two things keep coming up in the reviews: paying once instead of subscribing, and not needing an account. A few also call out the widgets, the missing streaks, or the fact that mails to the developer get answered.
"A missed day doesn't destroy your motivation, it's simply a gap."
"I have started swimming again. SevenGrid helps me keep at it without putting me under pressure."

Was SevenGrid anders macht
What makes it different
Keine Streaks
Alle Daten lokal, kein Konto, keine Werbung, kein Profiling. Export als CSV, Backup als Datei.
Einmal zahlen statt Abo
No streaks
Weekly goals instead of daily chains: "three times a week" is a goal, not a countdown. An empty day is not a failure.
Your week on one screen
A seven-day grid shows at a glance how the week is actually going, plus a focused Today view.
"At most" goals too
Sometimes the goal is doing less, like fast food twice at most. Most trackers can only count upwards.
Planned breaks
Rest days go in the plan ("every Friday off") instead of counting against the week.
Private by design
All data stays local, no account, no ads, no profiling. CSV export, file-based backup.
Pay once, no subscription
Start free, upgrade once for 9.99 €. A habit tracker should not charge rent.
Reflection instead of trophies
The week ends with three short questions and a mood dot, not with confetti and badges.
Calm in the details
Year heatmap, home screen widgets, light and dark themes, subtle haptics. All of it there, none of it loud.
Die Geschichte
The story
SevenGrid is a one-person project. Stefan Roßkopf spent years inside habit apps and dropped every one of them at the same point: the streak broke, the app made it a big deal, and a tool that was supposed to help started handing out guilt. SevenGrid is what he built instead, and he runs his own weeks in it every day.
Daily chains gave way to weekly goals, trophies to a short end-of-week reflection, and the cloud never entered the picture: the data stays on the phone. The full version costs 9.99 euros once; there is no subscription to keep feeding. Before launch, a closed test with about 80 testers shaped the release.
"A broken streak tells you nothing about how your week actually went. A weekly grid does. That is why SevenGrid has no streaks."

Just the screen: no frame, no marketing text on top. The status bar is pinned to a neutral state (9:00, full signal). Image 01 is the one staged shot: the widgets in it are genuine captures from the app, but the wallpaper and the dock are not from the device, because the launcher would otherwise put third-party brands in the frame. The other seven are untouched screen content.

Kontakt und Testzugang
Contact and review access
Reviewing SevenGrid? A promo code that unlocks Pro is one short email away. Interviews, quotes and background work the same way: write, and you will usually hear back within a day, in English or German.
Two things when redeeming: use the same Google account the app is installed with, and open the app once within a day or two. Otherwise Google quietly takes the unlock back and the code is used up.
A five-minute tour
Create a habit and give it a weekly goal, say three times a week. That is the core idea: one target for the week instead of a quota for every day.
Tick off a few days and deliberately leave one empty. Nothing happens in the weekly grid, which is exactly the point.
Add an "at most" habit, say fast food twice at most. Here, staying at or under the limit is the win.
Give one habit a standing rest day, every Friday for instance. That day stops counting against the week.
Open the weekly reflection: three short questions about the week and a mood reading, instead of points and badges.
